THE THIRTY-SEVEN PRACTICES
Gyalsay Thokme Sangpo (1297-1371) is a famous Tibetan Buddhist monk, who wrote a succinct Mahayana Buddhist teaching in a short text known as Thirty Seven Practices of the Bodhisattvas.
He was known as a living Bodhisattva, hence he earned the title “Gyalsay” and he had numerous visions of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. The Dalai Lama praised this work publicly and HH would always teach a few sessions on this text before giving any Kalachakra empowerment. HH has given over 30 Kalachakra empowerments around the world.
In 1975, Lama Choedak Rinpoche first received teachings and oral transmission on this text from HH the Dalai Lama in Bodh Gaya. Rinpoche has rendered his own translation on this text. Receiving teaching on this text over the weekend will be a great gift you will treasure for the rest of your life.

AVALOKITESHVARA SOOR PRACTICE FOR THOSE KILLED IN THE WAR
Our world is full of suffering and often we become overwhelmed and distraught. Especially we witness every day many signs of degeneration. Our beautiful world which took so many centuries to build is being destroyed by flood, fire, pandemics, drugs, disease, violence, and war. So many sentient beings die due to these calamities every day.
Millions of innocent people are displaced by senseless war and fighting. Many are distressed and do not know how to cope with such calamities, one after another. The practice of Avalokiteshvara and recitation of the sacred six-syllable Mantra can heal and calm the mind and heart of all beings, living and deceased. All are welcome to join in the prayers.
