Introduction To Buddhist Calm Abiding Meditation Begins Tuesday 16 July 6 pm – 7:00 pm
Learn mindfulness of body, feeling and thought.
Suitable for beginner meditators or advanced.
Learn to deal with the ups and downs of daily life and remain calm!
Phil Heang has been teaching Calm Abiding Meditation since completing Train the Trainer Course, run by Lama Choedak Rinpoche in 2006.
Many students have found the course to be of practical help in dealing with life’s problems.
The course is designed by Tibetan Lama Choedak Rinpoche, who spent three and a half years in solitary retreat.
After studying many complex Buddhist Teachings on meditation, Lama Cheodak, designed this course with Westerners in mind.
Once the course is completed, participants can attend weekly meditation on Tuesday evenings at the same venue at 7;10 pm til 8 pm.
Wear loose, comfortable, clothing.
People of all faiths welcome.
Venue: Chaplaincy Building 131 James Cook University.
Cost per lesson: $10 /pensioners, students. $5.
All monies go to Tharlam Ling Buddhist Centre Inc. to help run the Centre and its community work.
